Manica Youth Assembly (MAYA) has kick-started the year 2022 by embarking on an afforestation program to respond to the massive deforestation crisis around Mutare. Today we planted 60 trees in Dangamvura mountain. This is in-line with SDG 13 which advocates for climate action. As young people, we believe there is only one planet, which is Planet A and it is our mandate to protect it by all means necessary. In this Decade of Action, young people are the drivers of Global Goals. Climate impacts positively on all 17 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
